Who we are
Atlas Sun Systems Ltd. designs, builds and installs sunrooms, patio covers, pergolas, decks, screens and railings across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. We have been in this trade since 1987 and work out of #6-5734 Production Way, Langley, B.C. V3A 4N4.
In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Atlas Sun Systems Ltd. “You” means anyone using this website.
What we collect
We only collect what you type into a form on this site. That is your name, phone number, email address, the type of project you selected, and anything you write in the project details box.
We do not ask for payment details, government identification or any other sensitive information anywhere on this website. Please do not send that information through the forms.
How the estimate forms work
The estimate forms on this site open a pre-filled message in your own email program, addressed to info@atlassunsystems.com. Nothing is sent until you press send in that program, and the website itself does not store a copy.
That means your request travels through your own email provider and ours. If we later switch the forms to submit directly to our server, we will update this policy before doing so.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry, ask the questions we need answered to price a build, arrange a site visit and send you a written quote.
We do not use your details for marketing, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell, rent or trade them to anyone.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies. It does not use analytics, advertising pixels, session recording or any other tracking, and there is nothing here that follows you to other sites.
Because we set no cookies, there is no cookie banner and nothing for you to accept or decline.
Third-party services
The showroom map loads its map imagery from Esri/ArcGIS. Loading those images means your browser contacts Esri directly, and Esri may log the request the same way any website logs a visit. We do not send Esri anything about you.
Links to Facebook, Instagram, Google Maps and Google Reviews take you to services run by those companies. Once you follow one, their privacy policies apply, not ours.
This site is hosted by a third-party web host, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses and requested pages) for security and troubleshooting.
How long we keep it
Estimate requests stay in our email and quoting records for as long as we may reasonably need them — to follow up, to honour a warranty on work we did, and to meet our record-keeping obligations.
If you ask us to delete your enquiry and we are not required to keep it, we will.
Your rights
British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) gives you the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to ask for a copy of it, and to have it corrected if it is wrong.
To make a request, email info@atlassunsystems.com or call 604-539-7725. We may need to confirm who you are before we release anything.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us, and we limit access to the people who need it to quote or deliver your project.
No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure. Email in particular is not encrypted end to end, so please do not send anything through this site that you would not be comfortable sending by ordinary email.
Children
This website is meant for homeowners and property owners. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
