Getting our deck roof installed this summer by Atlas was the BEST decision we made. We moved into a new house and just knew that the back deck would be way too hot to enjoy time out there during the summer. Since getting the deck roof we've enjoyed it so much. The tinted roof is perfect! Still let's in plenty of light through the windows into the house, but cuts the heat down immensely. And it's not yellow looking or dirty looking, just tinted perfectly. We've sat outside almost every evening, I love how the furniture is protected now. Even sitting outside during rain showers is something I look forward to. The team was fantastic to work with and installation took only one work day. Would absolutely recommend Atlas to anyone looking for a deck roof!

It was a long time coming but we finally decided to do a patio cover over our back deck. We decided on Atlas Sun System because of the Polycarbonate and the team that they have doing the work. Amanda did the first measurement and then Warren came out with Amanda to finalize the needs. Then they assemble the crew to do the job. They were wonderful and got us done earlier than expected because the weather cleared. There was a problem, a slight mishap with one of the pieces but they rectified quickly and when they couldn't extend the whole two feet out the sides of the deck, they deducted that cost from our bill. A class act. The Polycarbonate has UV protection. We get the afternoon and setting sun and when it rains our windows are blasted with rain. I justified the money being spent as follows, no more windows to clean after each rain, the cedar deck doesn't have to be powered washed ( we face north ) Our dogs can go out on the deck and come in with dry paws, we can install an infrared heater and sit out on our deck any time during the winter, we can leave our furniture out during the winter instead of storing it in the garage and in the summer I won't have to pull my baskets in when it pours with rain. The happiest is our Golden Retriever, Crosby, as he loves monitoring the neighbour from "His" deck. We have shade in the summer and now I don't have to worry about the wind ruining our fabric cover that I had made. It looks great and I'm sure we are like most people... and can't understand why we didn't do this sooner. Update... still loving our patio cover... After sales service is lacking and I get that companies are busy but it would have been nice if my message was responded to.

From start to finish Amanda and Warren and their team were fabulous to deal with. Initially we did just the rooftop cover that Atlas did a wonderful job connecting the addition to our existing structure. We then decided to bring them back to complete the look with full top to floor two tone glass panels enclosing the entire corner. It has created the extra space we can now use all year, rain or shine! It looks fantastic from both inside and from the road, price was right and the communication between myself and the Atlas team was great - not to mention they are LOCAL family based company! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Warren and his crew were the nicest guys to have in our yard for a couple of weeks. They had so much gear in our back yard, I'm sure that's why they finished so quickly, even tho I was told this was the largest and most complicated system they had installed. And thank you for being perfectionists when it came to all the crazy angles you had to work with! Very happy with the company. I wanted to add some photos but unable to.

I recently had Atlas Sun Systems Ltd replaced my patio deck roof. I couldn't be happier and be more satisfied with the result. They really did a brilliant job. The old deck roof had been leaking for quite a while and it always made me anxious on rainy day. Finally I decided to replace it. I found the company online and contact them. Amanda responsed promptly, she came to do the assessment as well as the measurement. She gave me the options and quotes. With Amanda's help, I picked the option and the project plan was just set up. After the material I wanted being in stock, Warren and his guys came to install it. They're so friendly and so skillful. They did the job very efficiently, smooth and neat, they even cleaned up all the dirts/debris from the instalment. I was thrilled to see the new cover of my deck. It's really awesome. Concerning our project...this patio cover has absolutely exceeded our expectations! They showed us pictures of other pergola style patio covers but we weren't prepared for the quality and magnitude of the cover that we got. It is absolutely stunning and the quality of workmanship is second to none. We had Atlas Sunsystems install an aluminum and glass patio cover to a small existing cover. I was a little apprehensive because I'm not a fan of after build to an existing patio. I love love love this new cover. It looks like it was part of the original build. It provides the right amount of cover for rain and shade. They matched the existing chunky beams to make the look original. Warren and his team were professional and particular. Amanda was such a pleasure to deal with and we cannot thank them enough. My wife and I recently had a gorgeous 35'x14' aluminum patio cover with acrylic roof and pergola accent detail added to our home. Warren and Amanda were fantastic to work with and the crew did an amazing job on the installation. The price was competitive and the product superior. We are very happy with it and will be complementing it later by adding motorized blinds that Atlas will be installing. It's a very high end look and quality materials and installation! Update (2025): After talking to Amanda and Warren, they agreed to collaborate on a solution that would work for both of us. This eventually lead to them taking on the work and costs for the solution we had worked on. I am very thankful for their dedication and for working with me until now so that I am satisfied with the outcome. Many thanks! (2024) Incredibly disappointed with how they work. Now I have to fix what they did and somehow make it work. If they don't call you back in a couple of weeks, this means they are incredibly busy and they will treat you like a number. More than happy to collect their money tho.

We are very happy with the stair railings, deck railings, and deck cover that Atlas Sun Systems installed for us. The white railings and frosted acrylic roofing panels look and feel high quality. The installers did an excellent job, making sure everything lined up properly. Due to unforeseen circumstances on other projects, we experienced some delays getting the project started, but Amanda took care of us by offering a small discount. We recommend Atlas to anyone looking to install railings or deck covers.

We had a great experience working with Atlas Sun Systems on our back yard project which included a composite deck and a glass and aluminum pergola. From the initial quoting process they were very responsive and easy to deal with. Amanda and Warren helped put together a great solution for our North Van yard that worked within our budget. When challenges came up they were quick to resolve. Quite honestly the aluminum posts and beams are the best quality product I've seen in the market that looks incredible (wood textured finish) but will hold up in wet BC conditions. The price was also very reasonable in comparison to other options. I would not hesitate to recommend Atlas. We are very happy with their work!

We had Atlas install a cover for our outside backyard patio and replace our vinyl deck and railings for our front deck. From the point of initial consult and quote with Amanda through to install, we were very pleased. We recently had a patio cover installed by Atlas Sun Systems! The transformation of the space was amazing and we love spending more time outdoors. The Team was so great to work with! Amanda & Warren were very patient and understanding while guiding us through the design and decision making process. We went with the full wrap system and bronze lexan cover, which immediately cooled our composite decking on hot sunny days. The installation team was fun, friendly and efficient. We would certainly recommend and use them again!

We had our a 12 x 25 ft pergola, with a Lexan roof, installed by Atlas Sun Systems in June, 2023. We wonder why we didn't do it sooner. The Lexan roof is opaque so it looks cleaner and best of all it's provides 100% UV protection. Being underneath it is like being in a greenhouse, bright but not hot. The interior of our home is brighter with the pergola because light is reflected from the roof and posts. Our strata recently had the trim painted and the painters commented that the temperature under our pergola was much more comfortable than the pergolas with glass roofs. We also had Atlas install a roller shade on the west side of the pergola to block the setting sun and to keep the west winds out while we enjoy spending more time outside.

From start to finish the team at Atlas was fantastic. It started when they came out for an initial discussion and they really helped us understand the potential and better define our vision. Not long after that we had physical samples to review and 3D drawings of the plan. This made us feel really comfortable about making the investment, and helped understand some of the finer challenges of the build. The building team was great. Professional, hard working, clean, and even patient and kind enough to indulge our 3-year old who loved watching the construction. Atlas also brought in a sub contract to do turf. GREAT investment here too. The two teams worked like greased wheels to quickly get everything done. We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome, and whole heartedly recommend Atlas to anyone considering a project. Thanks team!

We had a lovely experience with both Amanda (office/customer service rep) and Warren (project lead/installer) with our patio cover installation. It took about 6 weeks from initial inquiry to the project being completed. Both Amanda and Warren came by our home to provide valuable input on design, structure details and suggestions. They patiently answered all our questions. We honestly didn't even look at another company as this company was a referral. The team of 3 installers were quick and professional. We had new patio cover, railing, stairs and balcony deck posts done by Atlas Sun Systems last week. Warren and his team were very efficient and produced very high quality product. We had our deck power washed and painted last fall. We then wanted the deck covered to keep it clean and to also get more deck use throughout the year. We came across Atlas while searching for Surrey/Langley company that do deck covers. They had many projects in the area that looked good. Amanda came by for the initial consult and quote. Her brother Warren did the final measurements and inspection. Both were very professional and easy to talk to. They were responsive to questions. We went with the black pergola detail with the thicker posts and tinted glass. Install was a quick: went to work in the morning, Atlas came by later, got home and the deck was covered. We asked that the wooden bench be preserved when installing one of the post. The cut around the bench was very clean and precise. The product and install came out great. Recommend the pergola detail if ok with spending a little bit more. Some of the deck paint chipped off (will need to repaint), but other than that, pretty happy with the service and product Atlas provided. We will use them again for future deck projects.

I had a new cover installed for my deck. A lot of different products are available, so the initial consultation was helpful with the choices. The service was great. the product is awesome. The service people were efficient and friendly.

Atlas installed a roof extension over our patio. They did very good work. They also provided a new downspout pipe at no cost, when another trade working near our patio, damaged same. We really appreciated this extra provision. Atlas has done the majority of the patio roof extensions in our 100+ unit complex. Recommend Atlas and their products to those looking to enhance their patio.

Can't say enough about Atlas Sun Systems! This year we had them install a patio cover in our backyard. From Amanda in the office who came personally to do the measurements to the team of five guys who came to do the install, we were impressed and so pleased with the finished product! After the install we had one little hiccough and it was resolved very quickly! This family company is amazing! We got three estimates from local companies and were pleased with this quote! So glad we chose them! Give them a shot!

Atlas originally did the cover over my back porch. Compared to the other covers I've seen in and around my neighborhood, the quality of build and design is superior to the point of not being comparable. All you have to do is look at the design and aesthetic appearance of the posts and beams to know this is a higher quality product. Makes my neighbors covers look like junk, and that kind of feels good. We had Atlas come back (2022) to provide an extension of the cover over our walkway and covering our hot tub. They exceeded expectations with what was provided. The cover feels very grand and open. I don't think we could be any more pleased. Highly recommend.

We used Atlas Sun Systems for our brand new glass and aluminum awning. They were professional, fairly priced and quick. Once the materials were in, the install was done within a day. We are very happy with the final product, and would use them again.

Atlas Sun Systems installed our deck cover just before Christmas. Unlike some of the other reviews, these guys are quick and responsive, finished my project much quicker than I expected. There were some issues with the project, but Warren listened and addressed those concerns appropriately. Will update review if we run into any problems over the winter months.
